CalESAR at Arthur Search, Oakhurst, August 02, 2008

Launched: 08/13/2008

This search was an all-weekend affair. The search had started the previous Tuesday, and we were called out Friday night. A number of us drove out that evening, and camped on the lawn of the Sheriff's substation in Oakhurst. I had to stay in base all weekend, as I'd cut myself the day before and had 16 stitches in my left hand. With a splint that more resembled a cast, I wasn't fit for scrambling over rocks and difficult terrain.

Since I was in base all weekend, I didn't get any photos of the team searching.
